Your records stay in this browser on this device. Local profiles separate data in the app; they are not verified online accounts or encrypted storage. Export regular backups.
The default applies to days without an allowance saved in the Dashboard. A saved daily allowance takes priority.
Local profile password
There is no email verification or password reset service. Passwords are salted and hashed locally; financial records are stored unencrypted.
Your data
JSON backups include your name, picture, expenses, allowance settings and savings goal. They exclude your login password. Restoring replaces the current profile’s records.
Import records from the original version
The old app shared expense records between users. Import only if those dated records belong to you. Undated recent activity and old weekly aggregates are excluded because they cannot be assigned to a calendar date reliably. This import can be used once per browser.
